Our Staff
Pastor Scott Faw grew up in a Christian home in Wadesboro, NC. Shortly after high school Pastor Scott announced God had called him into the ministry. It was then in January 1994 he enrolled at Fruitland Baptist Bible College. Pastor Scott graduated from Fruitland and began his ministry as a youth pastor in churches in Kannapolis and Gastonia. In January of 1999 Pastor Scott began his ministry as a senior pastor and in July of that year he married the love of his life Elizabeth Corriher. In 2001 Ashlyn was born and then in 2007 the Faw's welcomed a second daughter Meredith.
In January of 2018 God led Scott to become the pastor here at Calvary Baptist Church. These are exciting days here at Calvary and God is working among his people here. Pastor Scott is passionate about preaching, believes that the heart beat of the church is Missions, and feels strongly that real spiritual growth takes place in Discipleship Groups (Sunday School).
